The number of enemies will scale automatically to your group. However, you can change it in the difficulty settings – it is possible to have more enemies than the default number. There is nothing to stop you from facing max number of opponents (for 4 players) alone.

There are 4 gameplay modes in Strange Brigade – Campaign, Horde and Score Attack. All of them can be played solo as well as with friends.
