25 Minutes of Gameplay From High on Life Bring Something for Rick and Morty Fans
If you appreciate Rick and Morty, you'll probably find it hard to ignore High On Life. After the new 25-minute gameplay, it may be even more difficult.
High on Life is an uncommon game. No wonder since at the helm of the project are the people responsible for creating the twisted universe of Rick and Morty. The nature of their new game reflects this well, and subsequent materials only confirm this. We could look at a sample of the gameplay already several times already, and most recently as part of this year's gamescom ONL. Now we can do it again with a 25-minute footage published by IGN. You can find it below.
High on Life promises to be great, especially if you appreciate the work of Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon. Their characteristic sense of humor can be noticed already in the first minutes of the video, when the protagonist strolls through the apartment and listens to the funny dialogue. Unlike the sample presented by Geoff Keighley, this time without censorship.
In addition to the apartment itself, we can also see the living city that we will come to explore. It features no shortage of bizarre inhabitants who react to the player's actions. All accompanied by a gun speaking in Morty's voice. There is also no shortage of breaking the fourth wall and making fun of video games themselves. The gameplay itself, on the other hand, looks solid - as far as can be judged now.
We will be able to test the new game from Squanch Games on December 13, this year. It will be available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. It will also appear on PlayStation at a later date. It is also worth noting that the game will launch simultaneously as part of the Game Pass subscription offer.
