High on Life - Game Pass's Hit Will Get a Dark Expansion
High on Knife, the first DLC for High on Life, has been announced. The expansion will offer a darker atmosphere than the basic version of the crazy shooter.
The first DLC for High on Life, the comedy FPS from Squanch Games, has been announced.
- The expansion is titled High on Knife.
- The DLC is set two years after the events of High on Life.
- The DLC will offer a different atmosphere - inspired by horror movies - although the humor familiar from the base game will also be retained.
- High on Knife is headed for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, the same hardware platforms as the base game.
- The DLC will be released this fall.
- The trailer shows two new guns - one is the Harper, voiced by actress Sarah Sherman, and the other is the B.A.L.L., a strange little pinball gun operated by a bunch of little gibbering freaks.
- The developers will release more information on the expansion in the coming months.
High on Life made its debut in December last year. The game has been simultaneously available on Game Pass, both on PC and Xbox consoles.
The game turned out to be a huge hit. High on Life has been played by more than 7.5 million unique players worldwide. The title was also the best-selling game on Steam in the week of its release, the biggest Xbox Game Pass launch of 2022, and the best single player debut in Game Pass history.
Given the game's popularity, it's safe to say that there are a lot of gamers waiting for the DLC.
