The Last of Us Part I on PC Performance Improved Thanks to Patch 1.1.0
A new update for The Last of Us Part I on PC has been released. The patch is numbered 1.1.0 and the changes it brings mainly focus on improving the game's performance.
A new update has been released for the PC version of The Last of Us Part I. The patch bears the number 1.1.0 and brings dozens of fixes. The most important of them are listed below.
- The update focuses on performance improvements. In addition to better optimization of the engine in terms of CPU and GPU usage, improvements have been made to texture loading and ambient elements
- The compilation time of shaders has been reduced. They will be recalculated from scratch after installing the update.
- A new ultra-low graphics setting has been added, as well as new settings for AI quality and dynamic lights.
- The button interface for QTE sequences has been updated to correctly display Xbox controller icons when playing with this type of device.
- Graphics settings are now saved separately for each device and are not shared by cloud saves
- A number of bugs have been fixed.
- With the release of the patch, the game also received Steam Deck Verified status, guaranteeing that the game performs well on this device.
PC edition of The Last of Us Part I was released in March of this year. The game was met with a cold reception due to its abysmal technical condition. By now, however, many problems have been fixed, and the reception of the game is clearly improving - on Steam, of the reviews issued in the last 30 days, 78% are positive.
