Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 has undergone a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor that was released in 2018, with improvements in graphics, gameplay depth, character progression, and multiplayer options. Despite these enhancements, it retains the core roguelike dungeon-crawling essence that made the original game so popular. However, some fans are curious if the game will be released on consoles. Let’s see what the developers have to say about this.

Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 – potential consoles release

We may not have any official information about the release of Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 on consoles just yet, but the good news is that the first game was made available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch almost two years after its PC launch. This timeline suggests that the developers are familiar with the process of porting their games to consoles, and a similar schedule for the sequel could very well be in the works.

In comparison to the original title, which had just over 2,500 people playing at the same time, Heroes of Hammerwatch 2 doubled that number on its release day. This is a very encouraging sign for the development team, showing that there is a growing interest in the sequel. Given their experience with porting PC games to consoles, it's likely that we'll receive an update regarding the console release in the near future. Hopefully, much sooner than with the first game.
