How to install the mods
All of the mods described have the same installation process.
- First, download the file and unzip the archive from the "Files" tab.
- Then, place the files in the game's data directory located at <your steam library>\steamapps\common\Helldivers 2\data. Once that’s done, the mod should work just fine.
One issue to watch out for is having multiple mods with the same patch number in your game folder.
- To resolve this filename conflict, you’ll need to rename the files.
- Make sure file extensions are enabled in Windows, then extract the mod's three patch files to a temporary folder.
- Rename each of the files to use a different patch number (e.g., change patch_0 to patch_1, patch_2, etc.).
- Finally, move the renamed files to Helldivers 2's data folder.
