The CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios assured that the team wants to give Helldivers 2 players a chance to get content that, it would seem, has been lost forever.

Players of Helldivers 2 will have the opportunity to explore old game content that is no longer available. This was the promise made by Shams Jorjani, the new head of the Arrowhead Game Studios team, in response to questions from X users.

The players were curious if they would ever get a second chance to obtain the Fallen Heroes' cape, commemorating the famous battles and the fall of the planet Malevelon Creek. This is one of the rare instances of content that is no longer accessible in the second Helldivers, in addition to the pre-order bonuses.

As Malevelon is currently far behind the front line, Fallen Heroes hasn't been available since April 5. Jorjani's words give hope that in the future the cape and other no longer available loot will be available again in Helldivers 2. Unfortunately, the dev doesn't yet know when and in what form this will happen.

It's also worth mentioning the announcement of new Warbonds: Viper Commandos. They will introduce some changes to the formula of these battle passes, which will appear less frequently and will focus not on giving various items, but on emphasizing the common theme of the equipment.
