God Packs and Wonder Pick farming in TCG Pocket could get you sent to Pokemon jail. Violating the rules might soon lead to a ban
Not every clever method or innovative idea for exploiting God Packs was welcomed by the Pokemon TCG Pocket creators. Today’s message could be the first warning.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has some news today, but it’s not about upcoming new set or the trading feature update. Instead, it’s a warning for those involved in “data tampering”, ”real money trading”, and other activities that violate the rules. So, what exactly do these terms refer to?
What can get you banned
To keep it simple, here’s a quick rundown of activities that break Pokémon TCG Pocket rules:
- Sharing accounts or passwords.
- Copying or messing with the Site’s content.
- Breaking intellectual property rules, messing with servers.
- Creating or using illegal tools (like bots, mods, hacks, and scripts).
- Faking or selling Gift Codes.
- Installing the app on too many devices unnecessarily.
So yeah, farming Wonder Picks or selling God Pack friend codes will definitely get Detective Pikachu on the case! But let’s be real, we all knew these sneaky actions would eventually get noticed and dealt with. Finding a Wonder Pick exploit is one thing, but breaking the Terms of Use is a whole different deal.
God Packs and Wonder Pick farming
For those who aren’t familiar with the terminology, let me explain:
- God Pack: In Pokémon TCG Pocket, a God Pack is an extremely rare type of booster pack where every single card inside is of high rarity. It’s basically like hitting the jackpot when opening packs. They’re real, though I’ll admit I’ve never seen one myself.
- Wonder Pick farming: New accounts in Pokémon TCG Pocket have perks like faster leveling and more resources, making them ideal for farming. Some people create multiple bot accounts to collect free resources and open packs in search of a God Pack. If they don’t get one, they delete the account and try again. If they do get a God Pack, they share the friend code and stop opening packs on that account. By filling Wonder Pick slots with new accounts that recently picked a God Pack, they increase their chances of securing rare cards.
It might sound like a lot of effort, but where there’s a will, there’s a way. I guess some people are just born businessmen.
