Goblin Caves in Dark and Darker; New Map for Solo Players

Dark and Darker is a very popular recent game, in which we create a character and, together with our companions, find ourselves in a dungeon full of dangerous enemies. In the game we traverse tight corridors and open rooms, get treasures, find better equipment and try to cooperate with other players. Lovers of solo play have reasons to rejoice, because with the latest playtest, which started recently, a new map called The Goblin Caves has been introduced. The Goblin Caves is a map created for solo playthrough. In it we find ourselves in a dungeon, where the main opponents are goblins, but in addition to them we will also encounter other monsters, such as the flying Death Skull, which, fortunately, can be defeated relatively easily.

During the gameplay, we do exactly the same as on the other maps, only this time we are on our own. In addition to fighting goblins and other creatures, we also have to watch out for other players, who may want to defeat our character and rob us of our acquired equipment and valuables. The maximum number of people in a dungeon can be 9.

All maps in Dark and Darker

At the moment there are three maps available in Dark and Darker, and they are:

1. The Goblin Caves - the area described earlier was created for players who want to play without companions.
2. The Forgotten Castle - This is one of the most popular maps. We will traverse it with companions, and standard and sometimes also elite opponents will stand in our way.
3. The Forgotten Castle (High Roller) - A fee must be paid to gain access to this area. This is a dungeon created for experienced players who are looking for a greater challenge. Only here can you obtain unique equipment.
