Ghost Recon Breakpoint Hardware Requirements

Ubisoft has shared the hardware requirements for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, the latest installment of a popular shooter series.

The game will be released in October this year.

We are only five weeks away from the release of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, the latest installment of the popular shooter series from Ubisoft. The devs decided that it is high time to reveal the hardware requirements of the PC version of the game.

Minimum hardware requirements (low settings, 1080p):

  1. OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
  2. CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200/Intel Core i5 4460
  3. RAM: 8 GB
  4. GPU: AMD Radeon R9 280X/Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 (4 GB)

Recommended hardware requirements (high settings, 1080p):

  1. OS: Windows 7/8.1/10
  2. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600/Intel Core i7 6700K
  3. RAM: 8 GB
  4. GPU: AMD Radeon RX 48 /Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB)

Requirements for ultra 1080p / 2K settings

  1. OS: Windows 10
  2. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X / Intel Core i7 6700K
  3. RAM: 16 GB
  4. GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT/Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080

Requirements for ultra 4K settings

  1. OS: Windows 10
  2. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X/Intel Core I7 7700K
  3. RAM: 16 GB
  4. GPU: AMD Radeon VII/Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is coming to PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and will be released on October 4, this year. On PC, the game will skip Steam and be available only on Uplay and Epic Games Store. There are also plans to publish a Google Stadia version.

The devs promise that the PC version will be particularly impressive. It will offer 4K resolution, no frame rate limit, multiple screens and ultrawide monitors support. An additional attraction will be support for FidelityFX, a tool from AMD that increases the detail of the generated image.
