Geralt, Ciri and V in the Weirdest Crossover You've Ever Heard of
The developers of Model Builder have signed a deal with CD Projekt RED. The game will receive paid DLC featuring characters from The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.
Have you heard ofModel Builder? Probably not, because it's really a niche, first-person modeling simulator. It turns out that the studio responsible for this inconspicuous title has recently signed a deal with CD Projekt RED, which will result in one of the weirdest crossovers in the industry (via StockWatch [in Polish]).
Geralt painted as you wish
The collaboration between the game's developers from Moonlit and CD Projekt RED will translate into the release of paid DLCs related to the brands of the creators of the The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. Its purchase will enable the players to take make Geralt, Ciri or V figurines.
The president of the studio, Michal Gardela, commented on the cooperation.
"We are very happy to cooperate with the best, and the agreement signed with CD Projekt RED only confirms us in this. Model Builder is still developing and we fervently believe that its ceiling is still very high. We are aware of how recognizable a brand The Witcher or Cyberpunk 2077 are, that's why we treat the use of images of, among others, Geralt or Ciri as an opportunity to increase sales of the game, as well as to reach players who so far have not been interested in this type of gameplay. Almost everyone, at least for a while, wanted to become a modeller. We give people such a chance and without getting their hands dirty with glue."
For now, it is unknown when we will be able to get acquainted with this content. However, it is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the creators of Model Builder have cooperated with other developers.
In March of this year, the game received free DLC that was the fruit of cooperation with 11 bit studios. Thanks to this, players have the opportunity to create models related to Frostpunk.
