GeForce RTX 3080 Benchmark in Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Far Cry: New Dawn
New benchmarks of GeForce RTX 3080 have appeared on the web. This time we've seen its performance in Far Cry: New Dawn and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

VideoCardz.com shared the performance data of GeForce RTX 3080 in two titles: Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Far Cry: New Dawn. It's worth mentioning that the benchmarks were run on the same drivers (version 456.16), and the computers on which the games were tested were equipped with 10-core Intel Core i9-10900K processors.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider was chosen for the test because it supports Nvidia RTX and DLSS technology, which has a positive effect on the frame rate during gameplay.
Far Cry: New Dawn, on the other hand, shows how little RTX 3080 means for a game in 1080p - in this category, the RTX 2060 Super, the worst GPU in the set, was only 11% worse than the leader. For comparison: in 2160p, the performance difference between the two cards was already 47%.
The GeForce RTX 3080 GPU will debut on September 17, this year.
