Gears 5 Horde Mode on First Trailer

Microsoft has just introduced the first trailer of the Horde mode from the upcoming Gears 5. Thanks to the trailer, we learned several skills of the characters and learned information about a special pack of characters from Halo: Reach.

Microsoft and The Coalition presented a Horde mode trailer for the upcoming Gears 5 on the on-going gamescom 2019. We learned from the short video what heroes will be available in the game and what skills they will use. This mode will not be much different from the one known from previous parts of the series. Once again we and up to four friends will gather together to face the coming waves of the enemy. Our task will be to survive as long as possible, but in Gears 5 there will be some novelties waiting for us.

For example, we will get the so-called "Power Taps", which consists in moving our entire base to another place in order to obtain additional bonuses and prizes. In addition, we will see a lot of new skills in the game, which will be able to take out entire waves enemies. Calling an air raid or infiltration of the opponent's base are just a few of the many available options. Each character will be characterized by something different, so the gameplay should never be boring.

Additionally, thanks to a special pack of characters from Halo: Reach, in Gears 5 players will be able to take on the role of soldiers known from the Halo series - Emile-A239 and Kat-B320. The pack will also include various cosmetic items and will be available both in the Ultimate edition and for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription holders.

The launch of Gears 5 will take place on September 10, this year on PC and Xbox One.
