Forza Motorsport gets perfect gift for its 20th anniversary. Legendary track with 144 turns will return

Turn 10 studio has begun revealing how it plans to celebrate Forza Motorsport's 20th anniversary, which is in May. The studio has announced the biggest highlight of an upcoming update: the iconic Fujimi Kaido track will return to the latest installment of the series.

When Turn 10 Studios announced in January that Forza Motorsport would take a six-month break from adding tracks to the game (from December to May), many players were disappointed and predicted the imminent end of the project's development. However, some speculated that our patience would be rewarded with something exceptional. Today it was confirmed that the latter were right, to the great joy of the entire community.

In May, we are looking forward to the 20th anniversary celebrations of the series, and even though there's over a month to go (with another smaller update coming in the meantime), the dev has already revealed the most thrilling of the planned attractions. The beloved Fujimi Kaido track will be added to the game. This is the "biggest project" of its kind in the history of the series, with work ongoing since the game's release in October 2023.

Series veterans will definitely remember it (the last installment featuring it was Forza Motorsport 4 from 2011), and for the younger audience, I'll explain that it's a fictional location in Japan with stunning mountain scenery, featuring a loop of very winding roads meant for racing and drifting (or for leisurely, scenic drives).

There is a good chance that the new Fujimi Kaido will be connected to the Hakone track available in the game since its release, which is located in a very similar setting. Source: Turn 10 Studios.

The devs have revealed the new incarnation of Fujimi Kaido so far only in one screenshot (above), simultaneously disclosing that the lap will be 10 miles long, with as many as 144 turns packed into this distance. This represents a much greater "density" than that of the Nurburgring Nordschleife track. The route will be available in two variations, running in opposite directions.

What else will we get as part of Forza Motorsport's 20th birthday celebration? So far, Turn 10 studio has only generally announced that the game will also include, among others, "highly desirable" cars and "special events" in career and multiplayer mode.

In mid-April, we have a smaller Update 19 waiting for us, focused on the Porsche brand, and currently, the Velocity Month is ongoing, celebrating the fastest cars in the world (Update 18).
