Survival sci-fi open-world game won't follow in WoW's footsteps. We know price and system requirements of highly anticipated Dune: Awakening
The upcoming Dune: Awakening is now available for pre-order. The developers presented the editions, system requirements, and the title's business model.

The developers of the survival MMO Dune: Awakening provided a lot of new info. We recently learned about the system requirements and details of the business model, and today, Funcom Studio decided to present the editions of the game that are available for pre-order.
Three editions of Dune: Awakening
Dune: Awakening will hit the market in three variants: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate. By buying two more expensive editions, we can, among others, start the game 5 days ahead (May 15, 2025, instead of May 20). Below you will find the prices for the editions on PC.
- Standard Edition - $49.99.
- Deluxe Edition - $69.99.
- Ultimate Edition - $89.99.
At the time of writing this news, the prices for Dune: Awakening haven't yet appeared on the PS Store and the Microsoft Store.
If you decide to pre-order any edition of the game, you will receive the Muad'Dib Terrarium and a sample of Sunset Dye Global as a bonus.
Dune: Awakening without subscription
Dune: Awakening as an MMO game will not have a subscription model similar to that of World of Warcraft. After the release, Funcom studio plans to develop its title through updates (of course, free), which are supposed to provide fresh content, features, and improvements. There will also be larger, paid expansions.
Below you will find the game's PC system requirements. On personal computers, it will provide features such as DLSS 4, FSR, or XeSS.
Dune: Awakening will be released on May 20, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
