Update: developers are aware of the problem and plan to push a fix as soon as they are certain that it works properly.

Many players report that they can’t join friends or even random squads. What is the issue then? The truth is that it shouldn’t be servers’ fault. Why, you ask? The game is based on P2P model, so the connection should be on players’ side. However, it sure looks like server issues right now, as numerous people can’t play coop. It seems that the game struggles with processing information about running games.

What to do then? You can’t do much right now. Try to right-click your playing companions on your friends list and join them that way. Hopefully, the problem will be solved soon. It is a good idea to give the game some time, as it is hard to say when it will be fixed.
