Atlus, the developer behind the Persona series, has released the highly anticipated prologue demo for their new game, Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, many players are experiencing technical difficulties. While some have reported performance issues, others are facing a particularly frustrating bug, causing the sound volume to be unusually low. This can make it difficult to hear dialogue or music during cutscenes and gameplay. Fortunately, there's a simple fix for this problem.

How to Fix Low Audio in Metaphor ReFantazio

If you're experiencing low sound in Metaphor: ReFantazio while playing on PC, even after setting all the sound effects to the maximum level, the issue might be caused by your headphones. Here's what you need to do:

  1. Click on the Start icon on the bottom of the screen and open “Settings”.
  2. Go to “System”, and then “Sound”.
  3. Select the device you're currently using.
  4. Scroll down to find “Spatial sound” settings and turn them off.
  5. Relaunch the game and see if that resolves the problem.

When using headphones with your PlayStation or Xbox, check your audio output settings. If your console is set to surround sound mode, it might be causing the low volume issue you're experiencing. To fix this, switch your audio output settings to stereo mode. This will ensure that the sound is being transmitted directly to your headphones, resulting in a louder and clearer audio experience.
