Fields of Mistria is a new farming game for fans of such productions as Stardew Valley or My Time at series. It was released on PC but there is a chance that it will appear on consoles in the future. As in all titles from the genre, you can expect farming, mining, crafting and some interesting characters to befriend and romance. One of the most popular NPCs in FoM is Olric. Why is that? The ex-miner is a kind soul who cares deeply for his unfriendly brother, March. Many people believe also that he is the most handsome person in the city.

Can you romance Olric in Fields of Mistria?

For some reason players can’t romance Olric. Wile there are 12 characters (2 hidden ones) with whom you can be in a relationship, the miner is not among them. His brother is, though. So, it seems that developers picked a wrong family member for a romantic interest.

Of course, the game is in early access. If the demand will be high enough, there is a small chance that developers will listen to players and add Olric’s romance. However, for now, you can only give him gifts and become friends.

Best Gifts for Olric in Fields of Mistria

The lack of romantic relationship does not mean that you can’t be a friend with this rock-loving character. In the case of gifts, Olric is true to his hobby. He prefers gems like Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies and ores. If you have tight budget, offer him a regular Stone, he likes it, too. So, as you can see, if you use a pickaxe to get something, there is a great chance that Olric will love it or at least like it. Keep that in mind while in the mine.
