Far Cry 6 Now on Steam
Far Cry 6 has finally hit Steam. The game debuted at a very attractive price.
Ubisoft continues to send its latest games to Steam. The publisher's next game, which has finally arrived on Valve's store, is Far Cry 6, the latest installment of the popular open-world FPS series.
Along with the release, an attractive promotion has been organized, in which all editions of the game have been discounted by 70-75%. As a result, you can take advantage of the following bargains until May 25:
- Far Cry 6 Standard Edition For $15;
- Far Cry 6 Deluxe Edition (the game plus the Ultimate Pass package with additional adventures Journey into the Jungle, Crocodile Hunter and Occurrence) for $19;
- Far Cry 6 Gold Edition (the game plus the Ultimate Pass package and three big DLC - Vaas: Insanity, Pagan: Control and Joseph: Collapse) for $25;
- Far Cry 6 Game of the Year Edition (same as Gold Edition, plus additional DLC in the form of Lost Between Worlds) for $40.
FC6's warm reception on Steam
Both the game itself and the deal have been appreciated by gamers. At the time of writing this post, 82% of reviews by users of Valve's store praise Far Cry 6, which is categorized as "very positive" reception. Thus, the publisher managed to break the unfortunate streak of poorly rated launches on Steam - Watch Dogs: Legion, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Tom Clancy's The Division 2, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Assassin's Creed Valhalla have "mixed" reviews on this site.
Warm reception of Far Cry 6 pleases me personally, as I think the game was underrated at the time of its release. It has one of the weakest antagonists in the history of the series, but makes up for it with great missions, polished gameplay and a beautiful world. On top of that, the sixth installment, in my opinion, boasts the best DLC in the history of the brand.
It is worth adding at the end that Steam has also organized discounts on many other games from this publisher. An analogous promotion is also underway on Ubisoft Store.
