Fallout 76 - Update 8.5 Adds Repair Kits
Bethesda has released the next update to Fallout 76, a Wild Appalachia 8.5 patch adds repair kits and ProSnap Deluxe camera to the game in addition to many bug fixes.
Fallout 76 received the 8.5 update as part of the Wild Appalachia expansion. As part of the project, players were given access to new items of equipment, including repair kits. The stability and balance of the game has also been improved. In addition, on the occasion of releasing the patch a promotion has been launched in the Atomic Shop, in which you can get cosmetic elements available only for a limited time.
The biggest changes include new disposable items. These are two types of repair kits - basic and upgraded. They allow you to immediately repair damaged equipment, without using any handicraft materials. Both can't be manufactured or resold to dealers - the basic repair kit is only available from the Atomic Store and an improved version is available for in-game credits.
In Fallout 76, the ProSnap Deluxe camera also appeared with the 8.5 patch. Obtaining it will unlock a new task: A list of things to do before death, consisting of completing a collection of tourist photographs. This element, along with additional modifications and the film required for action, can be crafted in a do-it-yourself workshop.
The above patch for Fallout 76 on personal computers received the number 1.1.3.11 and weighs less than 1 GB. For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the update has received numbers 1.1.3.9 and 1.1.3.7 and takes up to 2 GB.
It is worth mentioning that Fallout 76 is an side-story installment of the postapocalyptic RPG series, which debuted on the market on 14th November last year. Since its launch, the game has faced a number of technical problems, which have translated into very low ratings from the community and reviewers - the average rating for the PC version on Metacritic is 52% at the moment.
