Fallout 76 2021 Roadmap Includes Brotherhood of Steel Storyline Finale and Alien Invasion
We already know what Bethesda is preparing for Fallout 76 in 2021. Attractions will include, among others, new story missions for Brotherhood of Steel, pets and a alien invasion, perhaps related to another project of the creators.
- Bethesda unveiled Fallout 76's roadmap for 2021;
- In the summer, we'll get new single-player story missions to complete the Brotherhood of Steel storyline;
- In addition to many improvements, special events await the players, and one of them may be related to Starfield.
With the game's producer admitting that the launch was a failure and that the devs messed up "pretty much everything they could", it's hard to be more hopeful about the title's future. And yet Fallout 76 is still alive and being developed by Bethesda, unlike Anthem for example. In fact, the devs of the online Fallout have just unveiled a roadmap for 2021. The entry on the game's official website also includes an infographic briefly summarizing the novelties heading to Fallout 76.
First, we'll see the new features currently available on the test server, which include changes to the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. (including the ability to reset attributes) and places for C.A.M.P. slots. (the ability to expand in several locations instead of just one). For new story missions we'll have to wait until the summer, when the Steel Reign quests will finish the storyline of the Brotherhood of Steel. Then - apart from rewards, characters, etc. connected with this storyline - there will be an option to craft legendary items with the help of legendary modules. Finally, in the fall we'll see improvements to private worlds and more daily operations.
The end of the year will bring a lot of news. There will be more four-star legendary items and the option to adopt pets (already present in theory, but requiring a lot of effort). Winter will see two more events. The first will focus on the cultists from Point Pleasant, whom we'll help in preparing a dangerous ritual. And in the second one, we'll have to face an invasion from another world, which - as some want - maybe not without connection with another Bethesda project. If we are to believe the leaks, Starfield (as it is called) will be released later, this year and it is from this game that the space invaders may come to Fallout 76.
Leaving aside speculations and the roadmap (about which you can learn a bit more from the official website), we may soon hear more about the future of the game. Tomorrow at 08:30 AM PT a Q&A session with the devs of Fallout 76 will begin on Reddit. Until 10:00 AM PT, the gamers will be able to ask producers Jeff Gardiner and Mark Tucker about the next attractions prepared by Bethesda.
