Dying Light Will Get a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S Version

Techland announced that a patch is in preparation, which will adapt the first instalment of Dying Light for next-gen consoles. More details about it, however, are unknown so far.

There are already quite a few games on the market which received updates or even completely new versions adapting them to the capabilities of next-gen consoles. We can name Horizon Zero Dawn, Far Cry 6 or Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice among them. The first instalment of the Dying Light series will soon join this group. Techland announced on Twitter that works on an appropriate patch are already underway.

Unfortunately, we don't know any details regarding the patch. They are to be provided in the near future.

The first Dying Light originally debuted in January 2015 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The release of its sequel is scheduled for February 4, 2022.
