Dying Light DLCs for Free; Enhanced Edition Upgrade For Everyone
Players who own the basic version of Dying Light from now on can upgrade to the Extended Edition for free and get several DLCs for free, including the huge expansion The Following.
Good news for Dying Light fans. From today, everyone who owns the first part in their collection will be able to upgrade it for free to Enhanced Edition. With this you will receive free access to certain DLCs, including The Following expansion. The developers did not specify this issue, but it can be assumed that the offer applies to both PC and console versions.
Free content
There are five free DLCs waiting for the players as part of the upgrade:
- The aforementioned The Following expansion (containing new story, map, vehicles, etc.),
- Bozak's Horde DLC,
- Crash Test Skin pack,
- Ultimate Survivor kit,
- Cuisine & Cargo DLC.
How to get the upgrade?
To access the free DLCs, all you have to do is turn on Dying Light, select "DLC" from the menu, and then download all the content.
Enhanced Edition of Dying Light has also received update 1.49, which introduces a special event "Tolga and Fatin", related to the two engineers.
In addition, the Hellraid DLC has also been updated (for the last time). The update, among others, added the Deathbringer shotgun and improved the armory. At the same time Techland has improved the Be the Zombie mode from Dying Light, more on which here.
