Dying Light 2 Took 6 Spots on Steam's Top 10 Bestsellers Last Week

Dying Light 2 dominated the Steam bestseller list last week. The game from Techland took as many as six spots in the top ten.

As every other Monday a list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers of the previous week was published on Steam. The list was completely rearranged by the release of of Dying Light 2.. The game by Techland occupied as many as six spots in the top 10, including the first one.

Why so many Dying Light 2's in the top 10?

Such a shape of the list comes from the specificity of Steam. What the service classifies as independent items are not only special editions of a given game (in this case, Deluxe and Ultimate), but also each purchase option of the base version (e.g. due to regional restrictions). As a result, the list was dominated by Dying Light 2.
