Dying Light 2 Gets New Event, But Players Are Preocupied With Bugs
A new event has launched in Dying Light 2, in which a fairy helps us find secrets. However, many players are more concerned with the technical issues that keep popping up, especially on consoles.
Before the launch of Dying Light 2 Techland promised that as in the case of the previous installment, the sequel will be supported for five years. Part of this support are events and the latest one, titled Mahala's Visions has just hit the game.
The titular Mahala is a fairy who for two weeks will treat players with puzzles based on her visions. Solving these puzzles will lead players to various secrets in the game, including some Easter Eggs, which Dying Light 2 has over a hundred of.
Players dissatisfied with the game's condition
The event is nice, but looking at the comments under the Twitter post announcing the event, many people playing Dying Light 2 have other things on their minds than solving fairy puzzles. Players are complaining about, among other things:
- Bugs that prevent completion of some missions;
- Trophy issues on PS5;
- General poor technical condition on consoles.
The developers have responded to some of these comments. They have informed that they are aware of the problems with the missions and are working on fixing them. A new patch for the console versions is also expected to be released soon.
It should be added that there are also a lot of positive comments under the post. Many Dying Light 2 players have clearly liked the game and they are excited about its future.
Dying Light 2 was released on February 4. The title launched simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. In a few months, Nintendo Switch owners will also be able to play the game thanks to the streaming technology.
Ever since release the game has been intensively supported. Apart from patches two free DLCs have already been released (Authority Pack and Ronin Pack), and in the middle of last month we got an event with parkour challenges. Work is also underway on the first story expansion.
