DualSense Presentation; Comparison With DualShock
A live presentation of the DualSense controller for PlayStation 5 has finished. Journalist Geoff Keighley shared his first impressions of the controller and compared it with DualShock.

Some time ago, a special broadcast of the Summer Game Fest online event ended, where journalist Geoff Keighley presented the DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5 console. Keighley shared his first impressions of the controller and compared it to DualShock. According to him, the DualSense weighs more, which makes it seem much more robust, but one doesn't feel it during normal use. The editor has also share comparison photo of both pads on his Twitter account.
Keighley also praised the adaptive triggers, which developers will be able to customize, making e.g. drawing bows more realistic. His attention was also drawn to the use of haptic technology and he pointed out that the pad has more than one vibration point mounted, which will also allow game developers to transmit different elements of gameplay through touch. There was also a short demonstration of how the DualSense controller works in the game. Keighley tested the device in the demo made in Astro's Playroom, which was created to display its capabilities. You will find a recording of the entire transmission below.
