Door Kickers 2 - Tactical SpecOp Game Gets a Trailer
KillHouse Games released the first trailer of Door Kickers 2: Task Force North. The trailer consists mainly of gameplay fragments, which gives us a good idea of what the project will offer.
- Developer: KillHouse Games
- Publisher: KillHouse Games
- Genre: strategy game
- Platform: PC
- Release date: second quarter of 2020 (Early Access)
It's been four years since KillHouse Games announced the continuation of Door Kickers, an excellent tactical game from 2014. However, only now the studio has released the first trailer of the project, showing how the production will look like in action.
Door Kickers 2: Task Force North is coming exclusively to PC. An early version of the game will go on sale in Steam Early Access in the second quarter of this year.
In Door Kickers 2: Task Force North, the player will take command of a special forces unit carrying out missions against terrorists. The place of action will be the fictional Nowheraki state located in the Middle East. The fact that instead of police officers we will lead soldiers is to have a strong impact on the gameplay, equipment and challenges facing us.
Unlike in the first part, Door Kickers 2: Task Force North features three-dimensional visuals. The authors have developed their own graphic engine, which will offer, among other things, the possibility of destroying almost every wall. The technology is intended to facilitate the creation of mods, which will also be helped by an extensive map editor.
The gameplay will take place in real time with an active pause option. The devs promise strongly non-linear missions and several types of special units to choose from, with different tactics and capabilities. All of this will be available in single player mode or in online cooperation for two people.
