Door Kickers 2 Available in Early Access
Yesterday, Door Kickers 2: Task Force North, a tactical strategy game from KillHouse Games, debuted in Steam's Early Access.
As announced, KillHouse Games has launched Door Kickers 2: Task Force North in Early Access. The launch took place yesterday, on November 3, and the first reviews are very positive. And although there aren't many (about 80) of them, players have expressed their admiration for seeing the formula known from the first part of Door Kickers in a much better version.
Door Kickers 2 will be available in early access for about 12-16 months. The developers want to take this time to refine the tactical aspects of combat, and then move on to the gameplay. As promised by the devs, the full version of the game will contain 100 missions, and a generator will be added to create our own tasks. Players will have 3-4 playable characters with eight classes to choose from, as well as more than 60 weapons and gadgets, new opponents and locations. We can also count on mod support.
The creators assure that they care about the opinions of players. Once a month there will be a survey on the further development of the game. The community would thus help developers to set priorities and eliminate potential problems with the game.
According to Steam Charts, Door Kickers 2 is currently played by about 500 people, which is a good result for an independent title.
