Don't Starve: Shipwrecked goes live
After a couple of months of Early Access Don't Starve: Shipwrecked has launched as a full product. New bioms, characters, creatures, and more await for those who buy the expansion to the popular survival game.
Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked has officially launched as a full product, thus ending its Early Access period. You can get this single player expansion to Klei Entertainment’s wacky survival game on Steam for a price currently discounted by 10% – $4.49. Note that Shipwrecked requires the original Don’t Starve to play, but you sure have that one, don’t you? To celebrate the launch the developer prepared a charming trailer, which you can watch below.
Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked offers brand new environments and dangerous creatures just waiting to kill you. This time you can build a boat and navigate the open ocean, but beware of sea monsters! Wilson and friends can also land on many desert islands, gather new kinds of food, face tropical seasons, and craft multiple new gadgets in order to survive in this hostile environment.
Shipwrecked is not the first expansion to Don’t Starve. About two years ago we got Reign of Giants add-on. There is also Don’t Starve Together – a co-op multiplayer-based standalone expansion that has been available in Steam Early Access since December 2014.
