HoMM's Great Rival Disciples Returns on New Trailer

Disciples: Liberation is a new game by Frima Studio and a sequel to the well-known strategy game series with RPG elements. We got a trailer and we know, more or less, what to expect from the title.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. A new installment in the Disciples series has been announced - its first trailer and screenshots have surfaced online;
  2. The game will be coming later, this year and will be a very complex mix of strategy and RPG, which is expected to take more than 80 hours to complete.

The well-known fantasy series of strategy games with RPG elements, Disciples, returns after a break of over 7 years. A cinematic trailer for the newest installment, titled Disciples: Liberation has just been released. The game also received a page on Steam, where we can see some details.

The title will be really big - completing the single-player campaign will take more than 80 hours. This time will encompass 3 acts, over 270 tasks to complete, and 5 possible endings. New Disciples intends to combine the characteristic strategy system of managing base and units, as well as typical RPG elements such as character progression or decision that affect the gameplay and story. In addition, the game will offer a PvP multiplayer mode.

The company behind Disciples: Liberation is Frima Studio, who brought us such titles as the platformer Chariot or the digital version of the board game Carcassone. The title will be published by Kalypso Media, a company known, among others, for the latest installments of Tropico.

The game is scheduled for release in Q4 2021 on PC, PS4, PS5, XONE and XSX/S. It may be an ideal choice for fans of the Heroes of Might & Magic series who would like to try something new in the genre. We would also like to remind, that starting August 24 we will be able to play another interesting title referring to the popular Heroes, namely King's Bounty II.
