Diablo 4 to Become Even More Beautiful; New Trailer Shows Ray Tracing
Diablo 4 will feature ray tracing. Nvidia presented the technology in a short trailer. It will also be used in Horizon: Forbidden West on PC, among others, and Dragon's Dogma 2 will receive „RTX support” at launch.
Diablo IV has been with us for over half a year now and the creators are still trying to visually improve the game. Thanks to Nvidia, from March we will be able to admire the depths of hell with ray tracing turned on, the power of which was shown in the fresh trailer.
Ray tracing is coming to Diablo 4
However, it was not revealed on what day in March ray tracing will be available in the fourth installment of Diablo. We still have to patiently wait for this information.
Let's briefly mention that ray tracing simulates the behavior of light in real world. The quality of this solution can be seen in two examples in the video posted above, in which the gameplay with the technology turned on and off was compared.
In the video - in addition to the effects of the discussed function - we see the capabilities of DLSS 3, which increases the number of frames per second and will also be available in Diablo IV. It should be emphasized here that the graphics card in our PC is also very important - the better it is (e.g. the newer the series (like the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 40), the higher the performance will be.
DLSS 3 for Dragon's Dogma and Horizon: Forbidden West
Let's emphasize that not only Diablo IV will be enriched by the discussed Nvidia solution. The DLSS 3 technology will also be used in Horizon Forbidden West and the upcoming Pax Dei from Mainframe Industries. In addition, the American giant's innovative features - it has not yet been confirmed which ones exactly - will be provided to games such as Dragon's Dogma 2 (at launch), Tekken 8 or Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The end of the second season in Diablo 4 is coming soon
We would like to remind all Blizzard fans that Season of Blood will end on January 23. The same day, season 3 will start. We will get to know the details about it "soon".
Let us note that Diablo IV went on sale on June 6, 2023 and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
