At the moment, Summoners War Chronicles is available on PC and mobiles. Many fans are wondering if the title will be released on other platforms, too. Of course, the most prominent of them which come to our minds are: Xbox, PS5, PS4 and Switch. Is it possible? To state it simply – yes, but it is complicated.
- Among aforementioned consoles, the most likely one to receive the game is Xbox, as it was hinted by developers themselves. We can read in the official Com2uS 2022 Press release that the Xbox version is planned for the future. However, that is not all.
- Later in 2022, on the official X/Twitter profile, developers denied that there are plans to port the game to consoles.
- Regardless, in 2023 the discussion was reanimated, and developers on the official X/Twitter profile commented on it in May:
There's no announced date for Xbox as of yet but do note that once we have an official date, we will be providing that information on our social media platforms and forum!
- As of now, there is no new information regarding this subject. It is not reassuring though that the recent YouTube video with roadmap for 2024 does not contain this information either.
Sadly, there is no news regarding other consoles. However, if those ports ever appear, they will probably do that after the one for Xbox. We have to wait and observe official channels.
