Diablo 4 Patch 1.1.1 Now Available [Update #3]
Update 1.1.1 for Diablo IV is now available. Primarily meant to fix what the previous patch broke, the patch is now supplemented with hotfixes.
UPDATE #3
Adam Fletcher reported, that Hotfix 6 is now available. The full list of fixes can be found on the Blizzard forum. Unfortunately, it is still not possible to fix the broken side quest called When the light grows dim. This will only happen with the release of patch 1.1.2.. Interestingly, Fletcher claims that this will happen soon.
UPDATE #2
Adam Fletcher, Blizzard's community manager, announced on Twitter that the company will release another hotfix this week that will remove several additional issues from Diablo 4. "I know that people are reporting that the side quest When the light grows dim is still glitched, we will try to fix that in the new patch. The team has also been looking at the frequency of Angry Hearts drops. Perhaps in the upcoming patch we will also introduce an update in this regard."
UPDATE #1
Update 1.1.1 for Diablo IV is now available. On PC, it weighs about 2 GB, and on XSX - about 2.6 GB. You can check the full list of changes here.
To say that update 1.1.0 for Diablo IV, which Blizzard rolled out a few weeks ago, has stirred up controversy would be quite an understatement. The extensive patch, whose main purpose was to "nerf" powerful builds actually weakened already weak characters. This, in turn, was strongly disliked by the gaming community, which did not spare harsh words towards the developers.
Update 1.1.1 - what time will it come out?
Aware of their mistake, the developers quickly promised another patch to fix the situation. This one, after a long wait, will launch today. So at what time can we expect the patch numbered 1.1.1?
Unfortunately, Blizzard has not announced the release time of the update, so we must rely on past experience. Given that the unlucky patch of July 18 appeared at 8 p.m. CET / 11 a.m. PST, we should expect that the new patch will also hit the game at a similar time.. Probably around 7 p.m. / 10 a.m. server maintenance will start and a moment later the update will be sent to the players.
Update 1.1.1 - what will it bring?
In addition to strengthening all character classes (especially the barbarian and sorcerer), the upcoming patch will increase the density of monsters in the Nightmare Dungeon and Helltides. In addition, it will affect the frequency of legendary item drops. Now players will find more of them. Among the minor improvements Diablo IV will also include an additional cache that can be purchased with in-game gold.
Of course, these aren't the only elements that will make their appearance in Blizzard's action RPG after the release of patch 1.1.1. We wrote about the details of the update in a separate post - you can find it here.
In the meantime, therefore, we have nothing left to do but to be patient and a lot of hope that this time Blizzard will not disappoint the community.
