Necromancers in Diablo 4 will return to favor. Patch 2.1.2 fixes annoying bug in season 7
Blizzard Entertainment will finally fix the broken ring in Diablo 4 and thus restore the power of necromancers who were nerfed in Season 7 by accident.

An update is coming to Diablo 4, which will finally fix the bug that has been tormenting Necromancers since the release of the 7th season.
Version 2.1.2 will hit the servers tomorrow, but Blizzard Entertainment has, as usual, released a comprehensive list of changes ahead of time that players will find in this patch.
As usual, the majority of the updates consist of minor changes, including bug fixes and balance adjustments. Or their undoing, as in the case of the Druid's Lacerate, which in version 2.1.1 was nerfed by blocking (fast) movement when the ability is active. After the players' comments, Blizzard not only undone this change but also promised further improvements to this skill.
Necromancers will return to favor
However, the players mainly focused on two other fixes. The first of them is the addition of the Nightmare Dungeon affix, which will guarantee the appearance of the Forgotten Altar. The second, and much more important, is the correction of the bug related to Ring of Mendeln. Starting tomorrow, the bonuses from this artifact will correctly scale with other damage bonuses.
This is important because the ring was a crucial component of one of the Necromancer's builds: the one focused on summoning undead minions. The catch is that from the beginning of the 7th season, it was clear that the damage dealt by the rotten assistants was far too low. As it quickly turned out, the reason was the "breakdown" of the artifact: the ring didn't account for bonuses from other sources, such as aspects, which made the damage bonus much lower than it should have been.
The players immediately demanded a fix for this issue, regretfully pointing out the lack of such a fix in the list of changes of subsequent updates. Only now, almost a month after the start of the 7th season, have the developers fulfilled their wish.
The list of changes, besides other balance tweaks or bug fixes, also confirms the addition of an option... to pet crows. You can find the full list of improvements in version 2.1.2 on the official Diablo 4 website.
