Diablo 4 Open Beta Just Got Better; Patch With Fixes Rolls Out
Blizzard Entertainment continues to analyze player-reported glitches in Diablo IV open beta and prepare the required fixes. Some of them have already been implemented.
Open beta testing of Diablo IV is underway, and that means Blizzard Entertainment has its hands full. Via its official website the team has announced that the game has already received several patches, which should eliminate the most common problems reported by the players.
- The PC version of the game received a patch removing the glitch where pressing the Alt+Tab keys caused the game to crash in full-screen mode.
- An issue causing some users to have trouble with voices in dialogues has also been fixed.
- Changes have also been made that should reduce queuing times.
The developers have also assured that they are working on further updates, which will appear before the end of testing (which will take place tomorrow at 8 p.m. CET). One of them concerns the situation in which a player disconnects from the game and is unable to rejoin. According to Blizzard, "this is related to several other problems that users are encountering." Performance and server stability are also said to have been improved.
At the same time, the developers warn that there may be occasional disconnections from the game when the update is rolled out.
