Diablo 4's hardcore mode completed by 1,000 players
Less than three weeks after the release of Diablo 4 the race has been decided. Blizzard revealed on social media that 1,000 fighters have avoided death in hardcore mode. Currently, the developers are to analyze the reported achievements. After this process, the players' names will be officially announced and their transfer to the aforementioned Lilith statue will begin.
Recall that players were supposed to hit level 100 with one character in hardcore mode, but that's not all that had to be done to get on the statue. Confirmed with a video or photo, they had to share the achievement along with their Battle.net ID on Twitter with the hashtag #Diablo4Hardcore.
Lilith joined Ork in Irvine
On Wednesday, Adam Fletcher, who is responsible for contacting the Diablo community, posted on his Twitter account one of the first photos of the Lilith statue. You can see the inscription on it:
"To celebrate the release of Diablo IV, the first 1,000 players to reach level 100 in hardcore mode are commemorated on this statue."
The hashtag #Diablo4Hardcore has also been engraved under this text. However, this is not the first statue to stand in front of Blizzard's headquarters. Lilith was preceded by the Orc from World of Warcraft, which has been standing on the company's premises since 2007.
Diablo 4 is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Immediately after its debut the game became Blizzard's biggest success in its history. The title also reached a "beastly" number in its first five days on the market - the Irvine-based developer reported that the game recorded $666 million in revenue during that time.
