The launch of Diablo Immortal was successful in terms of image - microtransactions were met with great dissatisfaction among the players. No wonder then, that some fears arose that Diablo 4, which is to be released next year, will also offer intrusive monetization. Rod Fergusson who takes care of the brand attempts to alleviate the situation, stating that such a situation will not take place.
In a post on Twitter the developer wrote that Diablo 4 is a production offered at "full price", which from the beginning was designed for computers and consoles. The developers plan to support the title after release for years, offering full-fledged story expansions and optional cosmetic items.
However, we still lack details and it is difficult to determine on what basis these elements will be offered in the game. So it remains to wait until we get to know additional information.
