Details on Diablo 2: Resurrected Beta
Diablo II: Resurrected beta testing will begin earlier than expected, because alredy this weekend. The open beta of the remaster will launch next week.
Blizzard announced the upcoming start of beta-testing for Diablo II: Resurrected on its official website and Twitter. The post was presented in the form of a board showing the path to the game's official release, which falls on September 23, this year. On August 13-16 the first stage will be held: "early access beta". (start at 10:00 AM PT). And from 20 to 22 August the title will be available in open beta. Interestingly, yesterday there was a leak regarding a possible beta start date, but it was incorrect.
Testing will take place on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The weekend of early access beta will be open to all purchasers of Diablo II: Resurrected or the expanded version of the Prime Evil Collection. The open beta on August 20 will also start 10:00 AM PT, and everyone who owns the aforementioned platforms will be able to check out the game.
Fans of the series will surely be satisfied with the fact that during the weekend tests they will be able to play with their friends in a cross-platform multiplayer mode with up to 8 players. What's more, the game progress will be saved on all devices, regardless of the platform on which the host is located. Clashes between the players in PvP will also be available. Those interested in the story can rest assured, because during the tests the first two acts of the title will be available "The Sightless Eye" and "The Secret of the Vizjerei" will be available during the tests.
