Diablo 2: Resurrected is so Close to the Original It Features Some of Its Bugs
The tech alpha of Diablo 2: Resurrected brought quite a few answers to the questions players had about the overall quality level of the remaster. Despite many positive sides of the demo, users managed to find a bug known from the original.
Yesterday marked the end of Diablo II: Resurrected's tech alpha. The title was received very warmly by the gamers and few shortcomings were complained about.
The best proof that it's still the hack'n'slash we know so well is the recent discovery in the form of a certain glitch, also known from the original. It allows for duplication items from inventory after moving them to shared locker and resetting the game. This bug was noticed and immortalized by one of Reddit users, known as iiNexius.
Dedicated fans of the series who exploited this bug in the past surely felt heartstrings being tucked when they saw that it exists in the upcoming remaster. We have a feeling, however, that it will be addressed quickly by Blizzard and Vicarious Visions, since it was discovered back during alpha testing. After all, alpha tests are designed to provide the developers with as much information as possible in order to directly improve the quality of the game.
Diablo 2: Resurrected will be available this year on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
