Devs of popular space MMO revealed ambitious plans. „2025 will be monumental for EVE Online”

2025 promises to be a fruitful year for EVE Online fans. The space MMO will receive, among other things, two expansions.

CCP Games studio revealed development plans for EVE Online for this year. Space MMO fans have plenty of attractions to look forward to.

In 2025, two major expansions for EVE Online will be released. We can also expect the return of popular events such as Capsuleer Day, Crimson Harvest, or Winter Nexus. Furthermore, after a year-long break, the EVE Fanfest convention will return, which this time will take place on May 1-3. The party will be organized in the Harpa concert hall in Reykjavik.

EVE Online schedule for the year 2025

The detailed development schedule is as follows:

1st quarter of 2025

  1. Revenant update.

2nd quarter of 2025

  1. The first expansion - narratively, it will focus on the conflict between the Deathless and Drifters factions. The options for managing your own domains will also be expanded, including the possibility of creating cooperative missions for other players.
  2. EVE Fanfest Convention 2025
  3. Capsuler's Day event, celebrating the 22nd anniversary of the game.

3rd quarter of 2025

  1. Online tournament.
  2. Update to the first DLC.

4th quarter of 2025

  1. Second DLC.
  2. Another tournament.
  3. Two events (Crimson Harvest and Winter Nexus).

The developers promise that the year 2025 will be groundbreaking for EVE Online. The planned updates and expansions were supposed to be designed taking into account the community's opinions on what this game needs the most.
