Without a doubt Final Fantasy is one of the most popular game series. No wonder that Final Fantasy XVI is also quite successful, as developers form Square Enix seem to know what they are doing. However, the quality itself is not a problem in the case of FF16, even crashes can’t heat up discussion as much as Denuvo. Yes, the game is protected by this software and as always it divides players.

Denuvo in Final Fantasy XVI (FF16) Divides Players

It is quite easy to find long discussions about Denuvo in Final Fantasy 16. For those who don’t know, it is a software which protects games from being pirated (well, not really, but prolongs this process). Of course, mostly the biggest sales are just after the release, as the game is distributed for the full price, at least without big discounts. No wonder that developers try to make as much profit as they can. It is a business, and they also want to earn money.

The problem is that often this antipirate software is connected with accusation of performance issues. While there are no hard proofs, as both sides have their own, the situation is not becoming better, as coincidences such as in the case of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor happen (the update removing Denuvo also boosted the performance). So, it is a difficult situation, which tears apart gaming.

Will Denuvo Be removed from Final Fantasy XVI (FF16)

It is possible. There are many games in which Denuvo was removed. We write more about it the article about Black Myth Wukong. So, we wouldn’t be surprised to see disappearance of Denuvo from FF16 Steam page. We will see. At this point this software stays.
