Dead Space Returns, Remake Coming to PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S
Dead Space Remake will be released on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. During EA Play Live Electronic Arts revealed the first teaser of the iconic horror game in a new edition.
- EA Motive is working on a Dead Space remake;
- The game will appear on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Unfortunately, we do not know the release date.
What the internet knew about since June has been confirmed. Dead Space is coming back to life on PS5, Xbox X|S and PC. EA Motive used the Frostbite engine for the remake, so we can expect impressive visuals. In the case of this game, it has a huge impact on building the climate.
The teaser, which was shown at the end of EA Play Live, gives us a sneak peek at the phenomenal lighting (all running on the game's engine!) that sets the mood for the whole scene. We're served a snapshot of the Necromorph, a shot of Isaac restoring his health and standing at a workbench (his suit seems to be a bit more elaborate than it should be at this stage of the game), and a final scene that shows the USG Ishimura with the planet Aegis VII in the background.
Unfortunately, no release date was revealed, so it is safe to assume that we are quite a long time away from the game’s launch. Nevertheless, the return of the iconic franchise, which after the cold reception of Dead Space 3 was buried by Electronic Arts, is very welcome. Let's hope that EA Motive will bear the burden of refreshing the iconic horror from two generations ago and will be able to squeeze even more out of it.
