Cyberpunk 2077 With 43 GB Pre-launch Patch And Followed by Another One

The pre-launch update for Cyberpunk 2077 requires 43 gigabytes of data to be downloaded. Interestingly, one more patch will be available on the day of release.

Thanks to the fact that some shops started selling the game earlier, some console users - e.g. youtuber DreamcastGuy - already have access to Cyberpunk 2077. This enabled us to find out, among other things, what is the size of the pre-release update, which can be downloaded after installing CD Projekt RED's new game. It weighs "only" 43 gigabytes.

One of the developers employed in the company - Fabian Mario Döhla - replied to DreamcastGuy's tweet and informed that this update is not the day one patch. Soon we will receive one more update, which will eliminate further problems. So far it is not known how big the latter update will be.

The fact that the 43 GB patch eliminates only some of the bugs shows how much work Cyberpunk 2077has recently required . We can only hope that the developers managed to polish their work and on December 10 we will get a game that works well and is free of serious problems. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S (it will work on next-gen platforms thanks to backwards compatibility - it won't use its full potential until next year).
