Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Intensively Tested; Upcoming Patch Could be Significant

CD Projekt RED is preparing something big for Cyberpunk 2077 fans. The upcoming patch is the longest tested update in the game's history.

There are many indications that the next update for Cyberpunk 2077 may be the biggest one yet.

  1. Fans have discoveredthat the upcoming patch has undergone more testing than any of the previous patches for CP2077.
  2. Most players expect that the tested update is numbered 1.6, but it cannot be ruled out that it could be about a later patch, such as 1.8.
  3. We still don't know when the next update to Cyberpunk 2077 will be released. Some are betting that it is due in September, believing that the patch's release will accompany the debut of the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners on Netflix.

Recall that already in July the fans noticed interesting activity in the Steam database, which suggested work on the next update. In SteamDB you can trace the changes in the profile of Cyberpunk 2077, showing intensive testing of the next patch.

This information has caused a lot of excitement in the Cyberpunk 2077 community. On Reddit gamers are speculating what the big patch might offer. They are hoping for new weapons, additional hiding places and a transmogrification system, enabling us to change the appearance of our equipment without modifying its stats. There is also no shortage of people hoping for a New Game Plus mode.

Of course, there could also be humorous statements like:

"Two new jackets!"

"They're probably testing the new physics of rocking genitals!"
