Let's Watch THQ Nordic Conference; Jagged Alliance 3 in Lineup
Today we will see another standalone show from THQ Nordic. It is expected to featureseveral new games, as well as provide fresh information on already announced titles, including Jagged Alliance 3 and Outcast 2: A New Beginning.
Although summer is in full swing, the game industry is not sleeping. Some companies are preparing for gamescom 2022, while others are preparing for independent shows. The latter strategy has been adapted by THQ Nordic, which - according to the announcement from a few months ago - is holding the second edition of its Digital Showcase today (we wrote about the first one here).
The show will begin at noon. It will be available on YouTube, Twitch and Steam, by clicking on any of the links provided.
THQ Nordic assures us that we are in for a "massive strike." So what can we expect? First of all, the announcement of several new games - I'm privately hoping for Elex 3 or the next installment of the Darksiders series. However, the company has so many brands in its portfolio that it is difficult to pick something. Suffice it to say that 28 titles are reportedly waiting to be revealed.
There will also be fresh information on already announced games. In this case, the first one will be Jagged Alliance 3 and Outcast 2: A New Beginning. In all likelihood, we will also see new footage from Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed (scheduled for release on PC, PS5 and XSX/S on August 30) and from the next-gen edition of Biomutant.
It's also worth mentioning that - like last year - the THQ Nordic Digital Showcase will be preceded by a short showcase by Handy Games. However, it seems that - unlike the first edition - this year's event will not be hosted by the popular industry journalist and presenter Geoff Keighley. We will see him instead on August 23, during the opening stream of gamescom 2022.
