CS Another Prey of Palworld, Which Becomes Steam's Second Most Popular Game Ever

Palworld is not slowing down. The Pocketpair studio's game has beaten Counter-Strike's best score, but it's still a little short of PUBG's record.

Palworld beat the record of Counter-Strike, making it the second most popular game in the history of Steam. Just a moment ago, Pocketpair studio's game exceeded 1.85 million players who were (or rather "are") in the game simultaneously.

The earlier results of this title were difficult to see as a typical early access success. The game, which many describe as "Pokemon with guns," has attracted larger crowds than any hit of a single week or month. Right now, not a single game â?? free or paid â?? has even half as many players as Palworld.

The association with Nintendo's popular creatures is the reason why the game attracts such a large number of players. Naturally, this has attracted negative comments towards the developers, as many of the creature models aren't so much inspired by Pokemon as they are almost directly taken from games by the GameFreak studio - if not entirely, then at least partially.

Currently, only one game has a higher level of interest on Steam than Palworld - PUBG: Battlegrounds, with 3.2 million players. This record is unlikely to be broken quickly. However, considering that Pocketpair's game didn't slow down after beating the CS result, it cannot be ruled out that PUBG Studios' title will also have to acknowledge the superiority of Palworld.

It's worth mentioning that the game has very positive reviews on Steam. The game has received almost 65,000 reviews within four days of its early access release, with 93% of them being favorable.
