'Communist' City Builder With Version 1.0 and First DLC. Workers & Resources Left Early Access and Is Tempting With Promotion

Version 1.0 of the Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic strategy was released. The game also received its first DLC.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, a strategy game in which we develop Soviet republics, finally left early access. Version 1.0 is currently available for purchase on Steam for $25.99. The price has been discounted by 35% as part of the early access exit promotion. The offer will remain valid until June 27, when the price will be raised to $39.99.

Content of version 1.0

The patch updating the game to version 1.0 brought many new features and improvements.

  1. New structures have been added to enhance the lives of residents with entertainment and fitness options, including an amphitheater and a large stadium.
  2. Additional playgrounds for children have also been introduced.
  3. Western vehicles have appeared in the game.
  4. The education system has been updated and the factory connection nodes responsible for resource flow in production chains have been improved.
  5. Graphic improvements have been introduced to many buildings.
  6. The interface has also been improved.

The reception of version 1.0 is very good. Yesterday the game received 49 positive reviews and only five negative ones. Leaving early access also strengthened the game's activity results. Yesterday, at the hottest moment of the day, 3,825 people were playing Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic on Steam at the same time. For comparison, the record last Thursday was 2373 players simultaneously.

Biomes DLC premiere

Concurrently with the premiere of the full version of the game, the DLC Biomes was released. The DLC costs $8.99 and this is also a promotional price.

The expansion allows you to build a Soviet republic in three new landscapes - in the desert, in the tundra, and in the tropics, each of which offers unique challenges and conditions.
