New DLC for Crusaders Kings 3 Introduces Missing Piece of Royal Puzzle
Today marks the release of a new DLC for the popular historical strategy game Crusader Kings III. The content is related to issues concerning the youngest representatives of the monarchy.
Debuting today, a minor expansion for the popular Crusader Kings III, Wards & Wardens, will introduce a number of interesting mechanics to Paradox Interactive's game. The main theme of the expansion is the childhood of young representatives of the ruling class.
The difficult life of children at court
Wards & Wardens Event Pack focuses on the theme of children in the courts of medieval rulers. Among the mechanics and activities announced are:
- issues related to the education of young monarchs in terms of their character, skills and worldview;
- tools for exerting influence on young, inexperienced monarchs;
- the possibility of holding the offspring of subjects as court hostages in order to coerce their loyalty.
The event pack available as part of the expansion is expected to diversify Crusader Kings III by introducing to thepolitical intrigue a new variable based on the influence of the youngest inhabitants of the court.
As a reminder: Wards & Wardens is one of the components of a set of DLCs that together form Chapter 2 of post-release content for the strategy game from Paradox. The small DLC is priced at $5.
