Epic Games Store accidentally revealed DLC for Sid Meier's Civilization 7. Information about it was found in the database of the platform (via Epic Games Database).

A fan investigation began after Polygon published an article about the new Civilization, specifically focusing on pre-release orders that offer bonuses for purchasers of the Digital Deluxe Edition and Founders Edition, such as extra leaders and civilizations.

What intrigued the players was the fact that, apart from the previously announced Shawnee nation, the text also mentioned previously undisclosed civilizations and leaders, including Bulgaria and Great Britain. After this, the players reached the EGS database, in which apparently some DLCs are already present, at least not hidden by the platform (via Reddit).

If we are to believe this data, the DLC for Civilization 7 will introduce, among others:

  1. 4 leaders: Genghis Khan, Lakshmi Bai, Simon Bolivar, and Ada Lovelace;
  2. 8 civilizations: Assyria, Bulgaria, Dai Viet (i.e. pre-modern Vietnam), Carthage, Qajars, Nepal, Silla, and Great Britain.

According to the official graphic, the first 2 leaders and 4 nations will be available by March 2025, with the remainder released by September at the latest.

Of course, these are just the first such expansions. The creators from Firaxis Games studio underlined that they plan intensive development of the game after its launch. Players have mixed feelings about these DLCs (mainly Great Britain, which according to some players should be present in the "base game"), but they appreciated that the content includes both old acquaintances and new guests in Civilization.

Sid Meier's 7 will be released on February 11th on PC, PS5, and XSX/S, so in less than 2 weeks. The release date is almost confirmed, as the game has received gold status.
