Caviar's Anniversary iPhone 12s Pay Tribute to Musk and Gagarin
Caviar is once again attracting attention with its unusual ideas. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first manned space flight, it presents a customized model of Apple's iPhone 12. A gold Tesla Model S was also created.
Space exploration has become a hot topic in recent years, thanks in large part to the work of American giants like Elon Musk and SpaceX and Jeff Bezos at the helm of Blue Origin. Now, in their honor and on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight, Russian company Caviar has shown off its original iPhone 12 stylizations.
The Space Conquerors series includes iPhone 12 Pro / 12 Pro Max smartphones with six different styles (prices for 128 GB versions; 256 and 512 GB are still available):
- Gagarin - $8920 / $9450
- Musk be on Mars - $6910 / $7450
- Korolev - $6760 / $7300
- Musk - $6610 / $7150
- Armstrong - $6450 / $6990
- Bezos - $5840 / $6380.
The most expensive model bearing the name of a Russian astronaut was created in only 12 units, and each of them has a part of the Wostok-1 rocket, Gagarin's vessel, embedded in the back. This product line also includes sneakers based on the founder of Tesla or the creator of Amazon.
This is not the only example in which Caviar was inspired by Elon Musk, because the company also created a unique edition of the electric car Tesla Model S, covered in pure gold, which can be purchased for about 300 thousand dollars . For comparison, an ordinary Model S Plaid costs "only" $170 thousand. The special version of the vehicle is available in a limited number of 99 units. In addition, the Russian company has also released new Tesla car-inspired iPhones 12 Pro and Max: Gold Titan ium and Black Titanium.
